Job Description

Our Client is recruiting a Field-based or Internal Sales Executive leader for the Essex area. This role will include dealing with existing, and prospecting for new clients. Although the roles are sales targets driven, the emphasis for experience is on knowledge of the construction industry with ambition and aptitude to work in sales

Our Client is a specialist provider of insulation, drywall and associated products and consultancy to the construction industry in Ireland and the UK, with 34 years of experience in Ireland they are the market leader and are experiencing substantial growth in a changing market, where demands for higher insulation standards and increases in construction output are growing. Markets include construction/development companies, SME builders, dry-lining companies, cladding companies, roofing companies, off-site house builders and energy companies.

Responsibilities:

  • Appraising productivity; handling employee grievances or complaints, or disciplining employees;
  • Monitoring work for legal or regulatory compliance;
  • Interviewing, selecting, and training employees;
  • Determining work techniques;
  • Providing for safety and security of the workplace;
  • Planning the work;
  • Execute strategic territory analysis that clearly defines growth opportunities within the area;
  • Analyses and proposes pricing strategies for specific customers;
  • Provide industry and technical training to direct reports and customers;
  • Identify area opportunities, develop value proposition and programs to differentiate Habasit from the competition and drive revenue growth;
  • Identify market and competitive trends that are impacting customers and those that are seen as opportunities for new business;
  • Manages and directs sales teams to achieve sales and profit goals within a territory;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Act as a role model in exhibiting the highest standards of honesty and integrity that support the vision, mission and values of the organization;
  • Prepares periodic reports showing sales efforts and results.

 What You Need Is:

  • Experience in working in and/or dealing with the Insulation construction industry
  • Proven organisational skills & planning ability
  • Account management
  • Ability to work on own initiative & within a team
  • A superb relationship building ability
  • A proven track record and ability to consistently achieve monthly and quarterly Sales targets

Desirable Skills:

  • Sales experience
  • Construction supplies sales experience
  • Minimum 3 years of field sales experience
  • Full clean driving license
