Are you a highly driven and motivated sales professional with strong KEY ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT experience in promoting INTERIOR FINISHES, PRODUCTS & SOLUTIONS to the UK HOUSE BUILDER, DEVELOPER & SOCIAL HOUSING SECTOR? Are you also familiar with developing relationships with specialist sub-contractors and working on National and Regional rollout, framework and / or supply chain agreements?
If so, we are working with a leading Manufacturer of FLOOR COVERING SOLUTIONS who are seeking to recruit an experienced REGIONAL HOUSE BUILDER MANAGER to join their specialist team.

The Role
- A highly proactive and productive role field based role (3-4 days on the road, the rest completing admin tasks)
- Develop and increase sales of my clients’ products in the UK market.
- Achieve national specifications and programmes with strategically important House Builders and contractors.
- Manage the customer base to ensure maximum profitable sales.
Responsibilities
- Regional management of Key Accounts from inception to conclusion.
- Creating an account strategy based on deep customer insights and in-depth market segment knowledge.
- Driving, coordinating and monitoring execution of the account plan to achieve the set objectives (MBO process).
- Delivering on clearly defined KPI objectives.
- Establishing and maintaining personal relationships with relevant representatives of the Key Accounts, particularly the key decision-making units.
- Developing and building relationships within the network surrounding these accounts.
- Taking the lead in the acquisition of new accounts.
- Leading a number of strategic and complex projects.
- Direct accountability for sales, margin and customer satisfaction.
- Working in harmony with Senior Management and wider sales teams
- throughout the UK to achieve maximum output.
- Working with the operations teams to ensure appropriate inventory control

The Successful Candidate – Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ National House build, Social Housing and / or Local Authority experience and a proven track record in key account management, sales or business development within the flooring (preference but not essential), interior finishes or wider construction product sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to influence, inspire, build long term relationships and negotiate with people at all management levels in all stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- It is imperative that the successful Candidate has the necessary related skills, experiences, understands complex client/National Housebuilder key account relationships & tenders,
- Strong analytical, tactical and strategic planning skills combined with a strong business sense and a drive for business impact.
- Sound IT skills.
- High energy, drive for self-motivation and self-development, attention to detail and the ability to see through complex issues to find the best suitable solution for your customers.
- Entrepreneurial spirit plus the willingness to take ownership and accept accountability.
- The aptitude to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
