Are you a driven & high caliber, consultative sales professional with experience in promoting Exterior building products to Mid to High End Contractors, Developers, Leading Architects and Local Authorities Nationwide?

 If so, we are working with one of the world’s leading designers and Manufacturers of Exterior Building Products for the UK and Overseas markets who’s growth is attributable to over 40 years of innovation, intelligent manufacturing and technical expertise.

They are seeking to recruit an experienced and highly motivated Senior Business Development Manager to join their team in this newly created role due to rapid growth and expansion with responsibility for promoting their products and solutions to the MID TO HIGH END RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL SECTORS.

The Role

The primary function of the National Business Development Manager is to build and develop a large pipeline of major projects Nationwide across all cities, primarily focusing on High-rise and Commercial projects. For this, you will need to have strong existing connections with key decision makers and influencers in:

  • Leading Architects
  • Tier 1 Main Contractors
  • Tier 1 Developers
  • Key Sub-Contractors
  • Local Authorities

In addition, you will be a champion and driver of new products being introduced into the market.

Key Performance Indicators:

Excellent presentation skills

Proven negotiation skills

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a commercial team

Ability to manage your own diary and work away 2-3 nights per week

Planning and preparing presentations and meetings

Continually monitor competitor activity.

Manage customer expectations

Confidence working with high order values

Ownership and development of a ‘major project list’

Key Experiences and Qualifications:

Proven track record can demonstrate an excellent understanding of the ways and workings of the above routes to market

Ability to demonstrate existing relationships with key influencers and decision makers within Tier 1 Contractors, Tier 1 Developers, Architects and Local Authorities.

Experience in a previous consultative/ solution selling environment

Experience in operating at a ‘National’ level
