Job Purpose

To repair and maintain our clients and other manufacturer’s specialist heating equipment.

Job Dimensions

  • Carry out all repair and maintenance work to their own and other manufacturers’ specialist heating equipment to a high standard of accuracy
  • Work and liaise closely with customers
  • Submit paperwork in a prompt and efficient manner
  • Report day to day activity to the Service / Contracts Manager to ensure availability and productivity
  • Liaison with Service Support Engineers and other Service Technicians
  • Submit site reports within prescribed time frame
  • Submit expenses paperwork and time sheets within prescribed time frame
  • Act in a professional manner towards customers to promote company image
  • Follow health and safety policies and procedures at customer sites
  • Maintain an excellent attendance record
  • To gain as much knowledge and experience as possible

Knowledge & Skills

  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Health and safety awareness
  • Experience of Specialist Heating systems – Warm air units, Tube Heater, Luminous heaters, Air curtains, Terrace heating systems and Heating Control systems
  • Full UK driving license
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Computer literate
  • Controls knowledge
  • Problem solving skills
  • Gas Safe Registered
  • Electrical skills
  • CITB skills card
