We have been retained by one of the UK’s leading manufacturers and distributors of specialist roofing products. Who, due to expansion are looking for a professional Commercial Area Sales Representative to join their team.


Reporting to:             Sales Director

Reporting to the Sales Director, this role requires maximisation and development of product sales within this territory area promoting the company range of roofing products to roofing distributors, merchants and contractors.

Key area of responsibility:

  • Development of product sales to existing and new customers.
  • Maintaining relationships with Distributors, Merchants, & Contractors.
  • Establishing relationships with new accounts.
  • Provide Marketing, POS, and inventory support for Merchants, Distributors, & Contractors
  • Meet or exceed sales & Profit targets.

Essential Experience:

  • New product launches and demonstrations.
  • Commercial and residential customer markets.
  • Reporting/Analysis.
  • Increasing sales and maintaining customer base.
  • Skills and Attributes:
  • Sales drive and experience.
  • Computer literate. Familiar and comfortable with computer and mobile technology. Ability to operate a Windows PC. Familiar with MS Office including Outlook.
  • Numerate and Literate. Must have good written and verbal English language skills. Able to communicate well at all levels, good rapport building and relationship skills are essential.
  • Must be able to work on own initiative and as part of the Sales team.
  • Must have the ability to journey plan effectively and be willing to travel within the territory area and beyond when necessary.
  • A self starter with minimised supervision and a pleasant, optimistic and helpful personality.

Salary                                      Negotiable basic dependent upon experience, excellent commission structure.
