Job Description

Our client is a leading Timber & Builders Merchant and is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join their Brand New Depot opening up in South Wales. If you are ambitious and are hungry for success, have a positive attitude and have something unique to bring to the table then this opportunity is for you. This position is for an experienced individual that wants to lead a team that will grow and develop this exciting new Depot.

Reporting to: Operations Director

Leading a team that continually works together in promoting the company’s TIMBER & CONSTRUCTION PRODUCTS to local contractors, building companies, developers, local authorities and construction companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and develop the Depot and drive its success
  • Lead the team in building sales and profitability
  • Understanding customer needs and requirements , research accounts , identify key players
  • Coach , develop and lead your team
  • Ensure high level of customer service is kept at all times

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

  • Experience in Timber / Builders Merchants Management
  • Timber & General Construction Product knowledge essential
  • Self Motivated , Sales & Target driven
  • People Management Skills
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Customer Focused with Sound Commercial Skills
  • Good IT Skills & PC literate.
