Job Description

Reporting to: Sales Director (Engineering)

The Role

To manage and grow the business across the Republic of Ireland, within the Biotech, Building Services, Data Center, Energy, Oil & Gas, Pharma and Utilities & Water Industries. With support from a team of Design Engineers and an Internal Sales team.

Key Responsibilities

  • To search for new opportunities to maximise the client potential in the Republic of Ireland
  • Develop long-term relationships with clients, contractors and EPC, through managing and interpreting their requirements
  • Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education (CPD and Webinars are part of the portfolio and presentation skills are essential)
  • Work on after-sales support services and provide technical backup as required
  • Arrange and carry out product training (onsite or virtually)
  • Liaise with other members of the sales team and other technical experts
  • Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects

 Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

  • Bachelor of Engineering, a suitable technical education or solid mechanical/electrical background
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Sound judgement and good business sense
  • Ability to build relationships quickly and effectively
  • Resilience and tenacity 
  • Independence, self-reliance and joy in business travelling
  • Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modelling) concept and methodology (preferred)
  • Full driving licence

 Qualifications required

Ideally, the successful candidate will have engineering qualifications, but not essential, you must be able to demonstrate at least 2 years of relevant experience in technical field sales with a proven track record
