We are retained by one of the UK’s leading independent suppliers of  BUILDING PRODUCTS who, due to continued success in the UK market place, are seeking to recruit a professional ACCOUNT MANAGER  / BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER.


Our Client’s products are very high quality whilst being competitively priced with many technical innovations and are primarily centered on HOUSE BUILDERS, DEVELOPERS and CONSTRUCTION COMPANIES, operating a MERCHANT and DISTRIBUTOR ONLY policy they are therefore seeking a Candidate who is able to capitalise on their success to date and further develop their business in the UK.

The role will be predominantly further developing relationships with House Builders, Developers, Contractors, End Users, Builders Merchants, Distributors, Buying Groups etc by offering product, sales and technical support gaining product usage specification, working in conjunction with the Specification Manager.

You will have experience in BUILDING PRODUCTS or similar sectors of the Construction Industry coupled with a strong background in sales.                                                          

A key element of this role is supporting existing distributors and merchants coupled with seeking new business opportunities, it is vital that you have experience in dealing with Independent and National Builders Merchants along with their buying co operatives and have good understanding of their business procedures.
