We have been retained by one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of Insulation and Fire Protection products for the construction industry who, due to continued success, are seeking to recruit a professional BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER to join their team.

Our client is a UK manufacturer of innovative, sustainable and environmentally friendly products for the construction industry. The business is constantly evolving with new product lines for Architects and Builders, available through a network of distributors across  the UK.

Reporting to:             Managing Director

The role

The primary purpose of this role is to generate sales of products through the effective management and development of new and existing customers.

The role requires further developing relationships with Merchants, Dry Lining Contractors, Buying Groups, Developers, End Users, etc by offering product, sales and technical support gaining product usage.


Skills and Knowledge required

Experience of selling Fire Protection and Insulation products preferred but this is not essential. However, sales experience in the field is required.

You must also be able to demonstrate drive and self motivation along with measurable success in the sales arena, this is a role that is geared to reward hard work and tenacity by offering a commission scheme based on your individual performance. Our Client is seeking an individual who is hungry for success and the rewards it offers.
