As part of their plans to expand their business and the expertise they provide, they are now looking to appoint a Sales Executive to join their successful National sales team.

 

 

Reporting to: Regional Manager (North)

As Area Sales Executive, this role demands a high level of self-motivation, a professional sales manner and the ability to both develop and maintain an existing customer base along with identifying and generating new business opportunities across the North West region.

Main duties involve:

  • Proactively contact both current and prospective customers, building strong relationships with the aim of maximising sales and exceeding KPI’s and targets for the region
  • Identify and track project opportunities across the North West region utilising a variety of sources such as ABI/ Glenigan etc.
  • Target contractors and specialist Sub-Contractors to develop sales opportunities
  • Introduce key initiative products
  • Produce sales reports and identify key market trends, delivering these insights to the management team and colleagues across the wider business
  • Provide timely and accurate estimates to customers for products and services
  • Ensure the required margin is maintained
  • Delivering excellent customer service and communication

 

The Candidate

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to enjoy working within a fast-paced sales environment where professionalism and a high levels of customer service are key to success.

You should have the ability to thrive in an autonomous role that requires self-motivation along with strong relationship-building and negotiation skills. 

Experience in the construction industry is imperative along with a proven track-record in building and maintaining relationships with contractors across the North West of England.

                                                               

Other skills required include:

  • Knowledge of a range of construction materials (drainage or civil engineering products would be an advantage)
  • A self-starter
  • Ability to manage and organise your own diary
  • Knowledge of the House Builder market (advantageous)
  • Excellent communication skills and organisational skills
  • Enthusiastic and professional manner
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to work using your own initiative within a demanding, target driven environment.
  • A full, clean driving license
